Campus is spread over 3-storeyed academic block with state-of-the-art classrooms, new-age laboratories, administrative and faculty divisions, an auditorium and recreational facilities. A Separate office of the Academic coordinator, headed by a senior faculty member, looks after the academic activities with the assistance of two staff members. The periodic meetings of the faculty are conducted to review the syllabus coverage, students’ attendance report and their performance in internal assessment tests.

The faculty at the KIOL comprises of a team of competent and dedicated academicians, along with a visiting faculty that is equally proficient and illustrious. The teaching and learning methodology is given more thrust for improving the quality and quantity standards of the institute which rightly reflects in the University results. Meritorious students are awarded with cash prizes and certificates.

All the classrooms are designed and built to create an ambiance conducive to attentive learning. The spacious, well-ventilated and fully furnished classrooms are equipped with all necessary electronic gadgets like Ceiling LCD projectors, OHP, Slide Projectors and Personal Addressing system to make them fully laden electronic classrooms.

Kalidasa Institute of Law takes pride in its dedicated Moot Court Hall where students practice advocacy and gain hands-on legal experience. Our Moot Court Hall Simulates an actual courtroom experience that trains students for the real life cut and thrust of the Court.

Mooting as an activity is quintessential to modern law schools and as such has a rich legacy and active culture at KIOL. To nurture future lawyers and promote sustained excellence, KIOL has a benevolent sponsorship mechanism in places which sponsors expenditure incurred in Moot participation of its students.

Each student of KIOL is taken care of for all round development with the most congenial atmosphere. Each teacher is allocated a batch of students to be taken care of by counseling. The counseling system adopted has developed a discipline in the ambiance and each student is known to the teacher. The continuous report of students’ progress in studies and academic oriented activities is sent to the parents regularly. This system has developed good harmony and closely knit family bonding.

KIOL follows a unique approach apart from Lectures which includes Court Case Studies, Petitioner / Opponent Role Plays, Group Exercises & Discussions, Simulated Cases, Legal Seminars, Legal Experts Guest Lectures, Internships, Internet Surfing, Corporates-Institutions Interactions, Legal Management Workshops, Other Management Association Activities, Alumini Meet and Other Co-curricular Activities.

The college has an excellent library Well equipped Library, housed with a good infrastructure and seating capacity of about 150 members. The college has a rich collection of books with 7764 Volumes, 2282 Titles, 24 International Legal Journals, 18 National Legal Journals. Our Digital Library is easily accessible to each aspirant. It has all the Text and Reference Books required by the students. Apart from Text Books, Encyclopedias, Reference Books and General Books of education are also kept in the Library. In addition, the Institution subscribes for a number of Business & Economics Magazines. Library supported with a Multimedia Center for students to access Internet. There is a reading room facility for both staff and students.

Our Legal Aid Clinic allows students to work with real cases under the supervision of experienced professionals, contributing to community welfare while enhancing their practical knowledge.

Language – a medium of thought and communication. Globalization and the IT boom have increased the importance of English Communication. Today, the ability to communicate effectively counts more for an employment. In KIOL, a language lab is setup with the aim of offering effective training in improving the communication skills of the students. The Lab is used for conducting courses and programmes exclusively designed not only for the toppers but also for the average students. The lab has 20 Multimedia PCs plus one server for the teacher. The lab functions on the concept of CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) and offers opportunity to learn English and to enable the students to get placed nationally and globally.

We focus on holistic development through soft skills training, leadership workshops and regular personality development programs. The curriculum is complemented by co-curricular activities such as debating, mock trials and legal essay competitions.
